Research shows that some strategies are much more effective than others to accelerate academic improvement and strengthen student wellbeing. EdImpact is hosting a workshop series to support districts in maximizing ESSER funds to accelerate learning and drive lasting systemic transformation. In these workshops, districts will learn concrete strategies with a robust evidence base to address challenges that have been exacerbated by COVID. School and district leaders can expect to leave each session with the what, why, and how for moving these strategies forward using ESSER resources.
During this session, participants will:
- Learn what the research says about the characteristics of high-impact teacher coaching
- Explore what high-impact teacher coaching looks like in practice
Inventory your school’s/district’s approach to teacher coaching
- Generate a list of action steps to align your approach to coaching with evidence-based practice
This session is open to all, but it is designed for:
- School leaders
- District administrators
- Instructional coaches
