While measuring academic rigor remains a focus in Massachusetts, how are we measuring the environment and culture of our schools? Do students feel safe and supported? Understanding school climate is critical to improving education for all students.
Join the Massachusetts Institute for College and Career Readiness and its partners at Boston College and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to discuss ways to measure school climate and consider how these results can be used to better our schools. You'll hear from DESE on the findings of its new school climate survey, discuss research methods with experts, and learn how districts are using this data to enhance school culture.
